Build the protocol

Oxytocin Nasal Spray works better with three things.

Oxytocin lowers the stress response. These lower it from the other side.

Magnesium calms the nervous system and supports the deep sleep that steadies mood.
$26
Theanine supports relaxed, alert calm without sedation.
$30
Phosphatidylserine blunts the cortisol response to stress.

Sequence
Cys·Tyr·Ile·Gln·Asn·Cys·Pro·Leu·Gly (nine amino acids, closed by a disulphide bridge between the two cysteines)

The bonding hormone, and the nickname is unusually accurate

Oxytocin is made in the hypothalamus and released during touch, closeness, birth and breastfeeding. Nine amino acids, closed by a single bond between two of them.

The nasal route is used because oxytocin does not survive digestion, and because the nasal passage offers a more direct path toward central tissue than the bloodstream does.

This is the product on the menu that connects most directly to what Remedy Place is for. A social wellness club carrying the connection molecule is not a coincidence, and the page should say so.

What it supports
  • Binds oxytocin receptors, which sit in brain regions involved in social processing and threat appraisal
  • Absorbed across the nasal mucosa, avoiding digestion
  • Involved in stress response regulation
  • Modulates how a situation feels rather than producing a feeling on its own, so context matters more with this one than with anything else on the menu
How it works
Direct nasal absorption.

Oxytocin is absorbed across the nasal mucosa, which avoids digestion and shortens the path toward central tissue.

It binds oxytocin receptors.

Those receptors are distributed through brain regions involved in social processing, trust and threat appraisal.

It modulates rather than drives.

Oxytocin shapes how a situation feels rather than creating a feeling on its own. Context matters more with this molecule than with anything else on the menu.

The mechanism

Direct nasal absorption.

The protocol

One to two sprays per nostril, used situationally rather than daily. Onset is roughly thirty to sixty minutes, effect lasts a few hours. Not a daily maintenance product, and daily use is not the intended pattern.

As directed by your clinician.
Pairs well with
  • Ice Baths or Infrared Sauna taken with a partner or a group, which is the most Remedy Place pairing on the whole menu and worth building content around
  • Remedy Roller or Lymphatic Massage, for anyone whose goal is the evening wind down rather than the social occasion
Who it is not for

Not in pregnancy, and this one is emphatic. Oxytocin causes uterine contraction and is used clinically to induce labour. Not while breastfeeding without clinician sign off. Not under eighteen. Anyone with a cardiovascular condition should clear it first. Skip it during nasal congestion, since absorption will be unreliable.

Questions
Will it make me feel something immediately?
Not the way a stimulant does. It shapes how an interaction feels. Many people describe it as subtle and situational.
When do I take it?
Thirty to sixty minutes before the situation you are taking it for.
Can I use it daily?
It is designed for situational use. Ask your clinician before making it a daily habit.
Is it addictive?
It is not a controlled substance and there is no physical dependence. It is still a hormone and it should be used with intention.
Why nasal?
Oxytocin is destroyed in digestion. The nasal route also offers a more direct path toward the brain.
Can I use it with alcohol?
Both affect social inhibition. Be sensible, and do not use this as a way to feel something alcohol is already doing.
Is this the same oxytocin used in labour?
Same molecule, a very different route and dose. Clinical use is intravenous and tightly controlled. This is a low dose nasal spray, which is also why it is off limits in pregnancy.
Why is it part of a protocol rather than sold on its own?
Oxytocin works best when it is aimed at something specific, and that is a conversation rather than a checkout.
In practice

It binds oxytocin receptors.

Book a Consultation

A clearance is not a consultation.

Every order here is reviewed by a licensed clinician before anything ships. That is a clearance, and it is included. A consultation is a different thing. It happens in person at the club, with a Remedy Place doctor who can order blood work, review your history and build a protocol around the therapies in the room, including the things we do not ship.
